These were taken the last time I was in Glacier Bay. This is at South Marble Island. This Steller sea lion colony is a bachelor colony of males that are past their prime or those who are not yet ready to compete for breeding rights with females. So they come here and fight with each other. These males weigh as much as 2200 pounds.

Losers!...are coming back this way also. Saw one last week and heard of a few at whale rocks.
